Amazing. Who'd build such a ludicrously large stone staircase on a bridleway? Then again, who cares, if it's rideable? OK, so there's a twenty foot vertical drop beyond the flimsy wooden fence at the bottom, just after the hairpin turn, but never mind...
And yes, he really did ride down them - at the third attempt, while being watched (and encouraged!) by a couple of grannies and before seeing the drop beyond the flimsy fence!
