Other Stuff...
Disclaimer, technical stuff and credits

I'm sure there was something else

A page full of "other stuff", such as technical stuff, credits, site policy, disclaimers relating to site content and more specifically the trails section, and a big bad (not really) copyright © notice

Have we missed anything? Let us know!

Site Policy:

Just as with our cycling, nothing on this website is ever written with the intention of causing any offence to anyone, at all, In The World, Ever, Part 1. However, various pages have been, and will continue to be, written with tongue firmly in cheek. Therefore if you do find anything offensive it's probably because you're taking it all far too seriously and haven't got the joke. No items will be changed in this instance; we suggest you lighten up instead. However, if something really does offend you, please tell us and we'll consider your comments.

Please note, while a lot of the pictures, routes and stories relate to the Peak District, the Sheffield area and land owned by various bodies including the National Trust, this does NOT mean we're "having a go" at any particular authority or land owner. To assume so is to entirely miss the point (and makes an ASS out of U and ME...). We're about increased access in general, not about badgering a few suits into giving a few permissions for a few cyclists to ride a few paths in a few areas. So if you recognise a location that you own or patrol, it's simply because we've been there, and that's all. So don't get your knickers in a twist.

Content disclaimer:

The inclusion of any material on this site shall NOT be taken to indicate that the authors of, contributors to or supporters of this site actively break any law, by-law or other rule of any description, or encourage any individual or group to do so. This site is NOT an incitement to engage in any illegal activity, it merely aims to suggest that cyclists should be permitted to ride on more routes than are currently available.

Similarly, the appearance of the name or picture of any individual, club or other group in any section of this site does NOT indicate that either the individual, club or other group has ever, or would ever, engage in illegal activity of any kind, including but not limited to cycling on footpaths, speeding, drug trafficking, murder, terrorism, laughing at red-faced walkers or failing to doff their helmet peaks at anyone wearing red socks. It merely indicates their general support for the idea of greater access for cyclists.

Routes and Riding:

No author shall bear any responsibility for any mishap, injury, death, missed dinner appointment or other incident or inconvenience suffered by anyone following any route described, hinted at or otherwise indicated on this website. Anyone following any such route does so entirely at their own risk. Similarly, anyone wishing to ride on footpaths or other non-permitted routes does so entirely by their own undertaking and at their own risk.

All "rides" included on this site which include illegal sections are merely suggestions of routes that could be really great if only they were legal. As it is, they're simply rather long walks.

Finally, wherever you choose to ride, we cannot be held responsible if you don't enjoy yourselves, so get out there and have fun, whatever you ride on!
